Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat
The ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) program, launched by the Government of India, aims to promote greater understanding and bonding between different states and union territories of the country. As part of this initiative, the state of Andhra Pradesh has been paired with the state Punjab.
At PM Shri KV Tibri Cantt in Gurdaspur, Punjab, the school has enthusiastically embraced the EBSB program and has been undertaking various activities to foster cultural exchange and learning between the students and the paired state of Andhra Pradesh.
Throughout the academic year, the school has organized a range of events and activities to showcase the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and customs of Andhra Pradesh. These have included dance performances, music recitals, culinary demonstrations, language classes, and interactive sessions with students from Andhra Pradesh.
The school has also encouraged its students to learn about the history, geography, and notable personalities of Andhra Pradesh. They have organized quizzes, essay writing competitions, and interactive sessions to deepen the students’ understanding and appreciation of the paired state.
Furthermore, the school has facilitated virtual interactions and online collaborative projects between the students of PM Shri KV Tibri Cantt and their counterparts in Andhra Pradesh. These activities have enabled the students to engage in meaningful exchanges, share their experiences, and develop a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect.
The ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative at PM Shri KV Tibri Cantt has been a resounding success, fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the cultural diversity that makes India a truly great nation.
